Banks is a large village in Lancashire, and is the largest of the villages in the parish of North Meols on the West Lancashire coastal plain. Banks Village is the central part of Banks and where most of the shops are situated. Banks Marsh forms the largest area of marshland within the Ribble Estuary National Nature Reserve.
