Edge Hill University

One of West Lancashire's biggest employers, Edge Hill first opened its doors as a teacher-training college for women in 1885 and attained university status in 2005. It has three faculties, has three faculties: Arts and Sciences, Education, and Health and Social Care. Its current chancellor is Professor Tanya Byron.
