AN AMY Winehouse fan who released a charity covers album has been thanked by the tragic star’s father, Mitch.
Jeannie Pritchard, 58, from Burscough, produced the album back in October and has raised over £140, which she has since donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Last week the foundation sent her an email thanking her for her efforts and attached a picture of Mitch with her CD.
Jeannie said: “The picture of Mitch holding my CD meant the world to me as I am one of Amy’s greatest fans.
“The foundation thanked me for my support and all the hard work I put into making the CD, which was just amazing.
“I’ve since posted the picture onto my Facebook site and have had lots of ‘likes’ and comments from the public and members of Amy Winehouse fan clubs, who are also very supportive of my efforts.”
The record, is priced at £5.50. Copies of the CD are being sold at Pritchards Ceramic and the dolls Hospital in Burscough Wharf, alternatively phone Jeannie on 07784863280 to purchase a copy.
