Skelmersdale's youngest beauty queen was crowned twice at a prestigious annual pageant in Liverpool.
Keeley Garner-Brogan, 10, from Tanhouse, strutted her way down the catwalk to take two titles – Miss Popular and Miss LMI – at the LMI Little Miss Independent Beauty Pageant.
Her proud mum, Denise Garner, said that her success was a dream come true.
She said: “The whole day was brilliant, Keeley was treated like a princess. She loved having her make-up and hair done.
“It was such a nice atmosphere and we made a lot of friends even though it was a competition.”
The annual LMI pageant took place on Sunday, March 23, in the glamorous surroundings of the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool. It was Keeley’s second competition.
Denise said: “It all started last year when one of the pageant judges sent me a message on Facebook because I had Keeley as my profile picture. She asked if my daughter had done any modelling and gave me some advice, she had been Miss Britain herself.
“So Keeley entered the LMI Little Miss Independent Beauty Pageant last year; she didn’t win anything then, but that was more about gaining experience.”
But Keeley wowed the judges in the three catwalk rounds; an eco round, wearing an outfit made from recycled objects; a Disney Princess catwalk, and an evening dress parade.
Keeley will now be preparing for the semi-finals of the North West Face of England, where she could win a trip to Disneyland Paris.
Denise added: “Both me and Keeley’s dad, Michael Brogan, are very supportive of what she wants to do, we now have three agencies all wanting to sign her.
“All her school friends are supportive, some can’t believe that she does pageants because she plays in the school football and rugby teams.
“Being in the pageants has really helped her confidence and Keeley’s sister, Emilia, three, has come along with us. We may look at modelling for her too.”
