Man charged with murder over Skelmersdale death

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Skelmersdale.

Kevin Saunderson, 29, of Inglewhite, Skelmersdale is due to appear before Ormskirk Magistrates’ Court this morning.

A 43-year-old woman from Skelmersdale arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until July.

Just before 11.20am on Saturday, police received a call from the ambulance service requesting assistance at an address on Inglewhite in Skelmersdale.

On police arrival, the body of a 40-year-old man was found and the death is being treated as suspicious.

He has been named as Dariusz Ryba, of Skelmersdale. A post mortem examination showed he died as a result of multiple injuries.
