Homestead farm in Ormskirk in line for an award
At a ‘Taste of Lancashire’ launch event held this week at their Homestead Farm, Lesley Lloyd, Chair of the Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board officially opened the new farm shop.
Gary Seddon said: “The new farm shop is a recycled building which came from Weeton army barracks near Preston.
“It was dismantled and section by section to Homestead Farm by tractor.”
Margaret added: “We’ve stayed true to our belief that this region has a great deal celebrate.”
Four other local attractions havs been nominated for the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards.
The results were due to be announced at a special ceremony yesterday.
