Lydiate Parish Hall hosts classic car show in aid of Cancer Research UK

THERE were some fantastic vehicles on display at the Lancashire Classic Car Show at Lydiate Parish Hall in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Visitors were able to enjoy more than 100 cars including a Pontiac Transporter fire marshal’s car and a Bedford Fire engine dating back to 1937.

The event was a huge success raising £1000.

Staff from Cancer Research helped and would like to especially thank Mike Brown, Les Blundell and Rob Blundell – who organised all the cars and outside activities.

On the day there was a fantastic and very impressive array of classic cars on show as well as a brilliant BBQ, cakes and toys stalls, a tombola and car boot sale.

There was something for everyone, it brought together the community to raise money for a worthwhile cause whilst having plenty of fun in the sun.
