REAL ale fanatics were spoilt for choice at the annual beer festival being held at the Junction Pub in Rainford.
Beer drinkers travelled from far and wide to partake of the brilliant bevvies on offer at the pub on News Lane.
Members of local Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) groups were among those who supported the event.
Among the most popular alcohlic beverages available on tap were Mongrel, from the Marston Moor Brewery and the Allgates beer Midsummer Madness.
Elgood’s Mad Dog and Beewyched from the Wychwood brewery was also pretty popular.
There was even a beer called Landladys, but Junction boss Alison Hopkins didn’t try it out for herself.
The large selection of ales was accompanied by live music from Friday till Sunday as well as a variety of home made pies being served up.
Some of the acts who performed at the recent Bickerstock festival again took to the stage such as Red Men Don't Walk on Friday and Trez Fez who performed on the Sunday evening.
There were different bands to suit a wide range of musical tastes and Saturday’s entertainment proved the width of the different types of music. The Zappa psycodelia of Herecy was followed by the ska/reggae mix of Rast4eyes.
There weas even an open mic session on the Sunday night.
Alison Hopkins said: “There were big crwods of people at the beer festival and everyone had a great time.
“The festival is growing in popularity every year and we would like to thank everyone who came along to support it.”
