X-Factor stars Jedward not coming to Ormskirk Christmas lights switch on

FALSE rumours are circulating that this year’s X Factor contestants Jedward are appearing at the Ormskirk Christmas lights switch-on tomorrow night (27th November).

West Lancashire Council would like to stress that these rumours are not true.

However, organisers hope this does not deter people from coming along to what promises to be a fun-packed night filled with Christmas cheer.

From 4pm onwards at the Clock Tower entertainer Andy Jay will be bringing lots of fun and laughter to the stage with music, family games and entertainment.

Former X Factor contestant Steph Woods will also be performing together with other local talented singers and musicians. There will even be a spectacular light and fire show.

A carol service will then be held from 6pm before the actual switch-on of the lights at 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, over at Chapel Gallery, St Helens Road, staff will be hosting their Fine Art and Contemporary Craft Event.

So if you’re looking for a unique surprise for a loved one and want some fun thrown into the bargain – this is the place to be.

Stalls are open from 12noon to 8pm, with evening entertainment starting from 6pm.
