IS your car in need of some TLC? Could it do with a lick of paint?
Well the Advertiser wants to Pimp Your Ride!
We have teamed up with auto-body specialist Jon Unwin of Base Design in Mawdesley and we want to offer you a special Christmas gift.
Jon, 33, from Ormskirk, has been working with cars for over ten years and studied a motor-sport engineering degree at Myerscough College.
“For my thesis I built my own rally car and I did rally driving all over the country for about five years.
“After that I learned about auto body, repair and styling and started my own business.”
Jon, a former Ormskirk Grammar School pupil, has now opened his own garage at premises on Town Gate Works Industrial Estate on Dark Lane.
“We’re working on a lot of Japanese imports like the Fast and the Furious cars. My team of lads are all fully qualified motor sport engineers and have a lot of passion and fresh ideas.”
For more information call Jon on 01695-579477.
Jon and his team are offering two lucky Advertiser readers £250 worth of their services, which could include alloy wheel refurbishments, body styling or repair or in-car sound and vision fitting. Just answer this question: Who starred in The Fast and the Furious as Dominic Toretto? Send your answer and contact details to gemma.jaleel@liverpool.com or Pimp My Ride, Advertiser, 28-32 Tulketh Street, Southport, PR8 1BT. Closing date is Tuesday, December 15 at 5pm.
