THIS is PCSO Aaron Thornley who was ran over by an off-road mini motorbike after been called out to deal with a complaint.
PCSO Thornley was taken to Southport hospital with head injuries after the incident on Moss Nook in Burscough at 1.30pm last Friday.
Nearby residents had been concerned about motorbike nuisance.
PCSO Thornley was left with a broken cheekbone and shoulder injury and is now recovering at home and no date has been set for him to return to work.
A 16-year-old boy from Rufford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with wounding with intent, driving without insurance, driving dangerously and failing to stop after an accident.
He will appear at Ormskirk Youth Court today.
