HERE we have our next instalment in the CCTV images released by police in our Crack Down on Crime campaign.
Over the past two weeks have been featuring unsolved incidents that have occurred in West Lancashire.
We are joining forces with the police to appeal for your help in tracking down these people that officers want to speak with in relation to various crimes.
The first picture relates to an incident at Bargain Booze in Aughton at 7.04pm on June 9 this year.
Police want to speak to the man in the picture in relation to the theft of some wine.
Image number two relates to the theft of a moneybox from Scarisbrick Nurseries early in the summer.
The incident took place on June 4 at 4.50pm and officers want to speak to the man pictured.
The third image relates to fraud.
The sum of £20 was stolen by someone dishonestly asking for change at Top Shop in Hesketh Bank on June 9.
Officers want to speak to the man in the picture in relation to this incident.
A police spokesman said: “We would urge people to take a close look at the CCTV images.
“If they recognise anybody or have any information that could help police, please contact us on 08451 25 35 45.”
Andrew Edwards, Ormskirk Advertiser group editor, said: “The campaign has been going very well, particularly in Skelmersdale.
“We hope that people in the community will respond well and come forward to help the police.”
Officers have sent more than 40 images to the Advertiser of unsolved crimes that have taken place in the West Lancashire area over the past 18 months.
We have been reproducing them in the pages of this paper and community-minded members of the public have been contacting police to help then with their enquiries and identify the people involved.
We hope readers will continue to contact the police and help our campaign which aims to make our town a better place for all of us.
