A YOUNG cyclist who had his bike stolen, days after he got it as a birthday present, has been reunited with it by police.
Sean Fisher’s bike was taken from him while he was riding on it in Birch Green just days after receiving it for his up- coming 11th birthday.
Parents Helen and John reported the incident to the police who, following a warrant on an address in Tanhouse, Skelmersdale, found Sean's bike – along with a number of other reported missing items.
Sean said: “It is great the police managed to get my birthday present back as I was really upset and didn't want to do anything for my birthday. “Now it is back, I am so happy.”
Several more bikes were also found at the raided Tanhouse property, in addition to a stereo system and a karaoke machine, with police continuing to make further enquiries regarding suspected stolen items.
