SOUTHPORT dad-of-two Paul Bennett who was caught with an arsenal of guns and ammunition alongside £3m in high purity cocaine was jailed for 14 years.
Paul Bennett, 37, was stopped by police in the village of Tarleton, near Southport, and found to have 10kg of 75% pure cocaine in his van.
When officers searched his lock Ainsdale they discovered an arsenal of weapons including:
A Glock 19 semi automatic pistol in a ruck sack and a Ruger semi automatic pistol.
A Webley revolver with four unfired bullets and an Enfield .38 revolver.
A 12 gauge pump action shotgun.
A Bruni MOD 8mm imitation pistol.
A Cobra stun gun and a Panther stun gun in a safe.
A suitcase full of “vicious weapons”.
.38 bullets, 9mm bullets, 8mm bullets, 7.65mm bullets, 18 shotgun cartridges, a silencer for a large calibre rifle.
They also found 300g of mixing agent benzocaine which is used to dilute cocaine, £3,000 worth of cannabis and nearly 2,000 ecstasy tablets.
