A BEAUTY from Liverpool caught the eye of pop star Rod Stewart as she was handpicked to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
Elizabeth Warburton, 22, joined the legendary rock singer on stage for the 100th Royal Variety Performance.
She was among 12 girls picked to dance at the annual event attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
The dancers also made a big impression on another act – teen heart-throbs One Direction who asked the girls to pose with them for photographs backstage.
Elizabeth, from Lydiate, said the experience would help her take a step closer to her dream of performing in a major West End show.
Her proud mum Linda said: “She was so excited when she found out she would be working with Rod at the Royal Variety Show. Rod loves the blondes and they picked blonde girls to wear white dresses and dance with violins on stage.
“I was so proud of her. She started dancing when she was two and she’s always aimed to work in London.”
