Singer From The Kelly Shirley School Of Dance Finishes 2012 On Top!

EIGHT year old Erin Howard, who studies dance, singing and drama at Burscoughs Kelly Shirley School of Dance, was lucky enough to get through to the finals of ‘Get Your Act Together 2012’.

The talent contest was held at the end of December 2012 at Ormskirk Church of England School, where 14 finalists performed in front of an audience of over 20, performing dance, playing musical instruments, vocal performances and gymnastics.

The winner was judged by both a panel of adjudicators and the audience on the night, and first pace was awarded unequivocally to Erin, who performed ‘Run’ by Leona Lewis.

Erin was delighted with the result and said: "I was very pleased to win the talent show, I have practiced really hard and to win is absolutely amazing!"

Erin’s mother Emma added: "I am so proud of Erin, she works so hard at her singing, and to win this is a fantastic achievement".
