TALK Talk is investing £50,000 in improving its services in areas of West Lancashire.
The phone and broadband provider is expanding its Next Generation Network (NGN) by installing new equipment at the Rufford exchange. The NGN also covers Mawdesley and Holmeswood.
The firm said it will provide its customers with access to fast, reliable, better value and more secure broadband – as well as built-in security service Homesafe, which gives customers control over websites their household can access. The deal will also see Rufford Village Hall net £600 from Talk Talk through a one-year sponsorship arrangement, which will pay for ongoing refurbishments.
Tristia Clarke, the firm’s commercial director, said: “Talk Talk is at the forefront of developing new services for our customers and by investing in the exchange in Rufford we will be able to bring our great value offers to even more families in the area.”
Talk Talk said its Next Generation Network enables broadband speeds of up to 14mb, with customers who upgrade gaining an average increase in speed of 50%.
