MARK James Anthony Jones, 42, of Arnhem Road, Huyton, appeared before Ormskirk Magistrates on December 20 charged with trespassing into Ormskirk Golf Club and stealing a quantity of golf equipment and clothing to the value of £10,000 on December 19. Jones has not yet entered a plea and was remanded in custody to await trial at Liverpool Crown Court on January 7.
MICHAEL Thomas Gout, 47, of Church Street, Ormskirk, has pleaded not guilty to possessing a kitchen knife without good reason or lawful authority in a public place, namely Northway, Maghull, on December 5. Sefton magistrates remanded him on unconditional bail until his trial on February 17.
JOHN Lawrence Hanlon, 56, of Martin Lane, Burscough, appeared before Ormskirk Magistrates charged with beating Jeffrey Thomas Blundell on June 21 at Scarisbrick. Hanlon was found guilty and the case was adjourned until a report can be provided.
JOHANNA Moss, 46, of Delph Drive, Burscough, was charged with stealing £68,859 from Unison at Ormskirk between March 1, 2006 and February 28, 2013. Moss, who has yet to enter a plea, was remanded on unconditional bail and is set to appear again on January 14 at Ormskirk Magistrates Court.
