IAN Ellis, 29, of Hostock Close, Prescot, appeared before Chorley magistrates charged with having articles for use in the course of a theft, namely two crow bars and a pair of pliers at Aughton, Ormskirk, on October 17.
Ellis, who has not yet entered a plea, was remanded in custody and is due to appear via videolink before trial.
GARY Groves, 46, of Alvina Lane, Kirkby, appeared before Ormskirk Magistrates charged with stealing a Ford Transit van to the value of £2,000 and a Boss gents wallet to the value of £50, both belonging to Matthew Twist, at Scarisbrick on January 9.
Groves pleaded not guilty to both offences, and has been remanded on conditional bail until the trial at Ormskirk magistrates on March 7.
SAJJAD Cheema, 53, of Torcross Way, Halewood, appeared before Ormskirk magistrates charged with three counts of selling counterfeit goods including Burberry polo tops and Oakley sunglasses, on July 14, 2013, at Burscough.
Cheema was also charged with four counts of selling counterfeit goods including a Burberry cap, 30 pairs of Oakley glasses, 12 Paul and Shark polo tops and 46 Burberry polo tops on August 25, 2013, at Burscough.
Cheema pleaded guilty to all the offences and was sentenced to a community order, had to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £200 and all the counterfeit goods were destroyed.
