SKELMERSDALE: A house on Firswood Road, Lathom was broken into between 8.30am and 14.05pm on Monday.
The offender approached the detached house and broke the glass of double glazed window with a brick. The offender used a key in the window to enter the house, searched the upstairs bedrooms and removed property.
STANLEY: Rosewood Trucking Unit on Seddon Place was broken into between 6.30pm and 11.39pm on January 29.
The offender used cutting equipment to remove the padlock from the outer gate before approaching building and forcing a hole into the metal shutter, removing the padlock from electric motor housing affixed to wall and smashing glass in window. They climbed through removing all hinges and window frame before entering premises through the toilet area, but left empty-handed.
TOWN CENTRE: A 39-year-old woman from Tanhouse has been charged with shoplifting on two separate occasions. On January 28, nine air fresheners worth £35.91 were stolen from Home and Bargain in the Concourse.
On January 29, a leg of lamb worth £16 and three beef joints worth £28 were stolen from Asda on Ingram. Katrina Jane McHugh of Elmridge will appear at Ormskirk Magistrates Court on February 9.
