SANTA and his reindeer were very special guests in Skelmersdale on Friday night when they oversaw the switching on of the Christmas lights at the Concourse.
The man in red arrived by sleigh as part of a packed afternoon of events.
Titan the Robot made a popular reappearance and the event was hosted by the comedy duo Bread and Butter.
The Mayor of West Lancs, Cllr Paul Greenall, was in the parade with Santa and his reindeer and had the honour of starting off the festive proceedings.
Centre manager Gary Mitchell told the Advertiser: “It was a great night and I am told by staff that have worked at the centre for a long time it was one of the best.”
Anyone who wasn’t able to meet Santa at Friday evening’s switch-on can see him at the Concourse again every Saturday between 10am and 2pm until December 15.
