Residents from across West Lancashire are being invited to a public debate over how to meet future housing demand.
West Lancashire Conservative Association's Disraeli Club, which holds regular events to debate topical matters, has organised the event for Tuesday, December 4th, starting at 7.30pm at Briars Hall in Lathom.
Among the speakers will be Derek Long, Head of the North for the National Housing Federation, Cllr Mike Jones, Chairman of the Local Government Association's Environment and Housing Board, and Cllr Adrian Owens, Deputy Leader of West Lancashire Borough Council who is also Cabinet Member for Housing (Finance), Regeneration & Estates.
A panel discussion will take place followed by questions from the audience.
Association Deputy Chairman (Political) Cllr Graham Jones, who is chairing the debate, said: "I am pleased we have managed to secure an excellent panel for this important debate. I would urge all those interested in attending to book a place as soon as possible. Numbers are strictly limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis."
