AN INDIAN weight loss course is on its way to West Lancashire
Enthusiast and teacher of the course, Peter Brown (pictured above), believes that Ayurveda helps lose any extra weight gained and makes you feel healthier and more energetic than ever.
Peter, who has recently returned to Skelmersdale after living in Devon, said: “While in Devon I developed and ran a course at Exeter College called Ayurveda cooking for good health and great taste. Ayurveda says that up to 95% of all ill health comes from the food we eat and the way we eat it.
“This course will teach you how to prepare some basic ingredients, central to an Ayurvedic diet.
“On it you will learn what your own unique body-type is and be able to choose what foods are right for you.
“You’ll also discover a simple formula to eliminate cravings and food addictions that may lead to excess weight and ill health.
“A lot of people can be very careful with what they’re eating and be very nutritious, but if their digestion isn’t good, it won’t help.”
Peter’s course helps with digestion and tells people how to create meals full of different tastes in order to combine healthy dieting with a satisfying meal. Peter lost more than three stone and thanks the Ayurveda diet for helping him to achieve his weight loss.
The course will be held on Saturday September 14, from 10am–4pm at the Women’s Institute Hall, The Common, Parbold. It costs £50 per person, £40 each for couples, or £30 each for groups of three people.
