IAN Pennington, 29, of Clements Avenue, Atherton, appeared at Ormskirk Magistrates’ Court on December 9 charged with destroying two windows to the value of £400 that belonged to a woman on November 15 at Skelmersdale.He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a community order, ordered to pay £400 compensation and a victim surcharge of £60.
CARL Terrence Barry Pennington, 33, of Woodrow, Skelmersdale, appeared before Ormskirk Magistrates Court on December 9 charged with failing to remove dog faeces from the Skelmersdale High Street after his dog had defecated there on June 5, 2013. Pennington is yet to enter a plea and the case was adjourned to December 23 to allow evidence to be served.
GARY Minton, 35, of Bearncroft, Skelmersdale, appeared before Ormskirk Magistrates’ Court on December 2 charged with beating a woman at Skelmersdale on November 22. Minton pleaded not guilty and was remanded on conditional bail before the trial on January 23.
DAVID Alan Morris,41, of Togbarn, Skelmersdale pleaded guilty before Ormskirk Magistrates to destroying a garden gate, and other items to the value of £500 belonging to a woman on September 28.A community order was made and Morris to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
