A wave of Albanian prisoners held in England and Wales will be sent back to their home country to finish their sentences.
A total of 77 out of nearly 200 Albanian prisoners are currently eligible for transfer under the agreement between the two nations, said the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
The move, which is expected to save taxpayers around £25 million over the next 10 years, should see the first batch of prisoners deported in around two months' time.
