A new television advert featuring London 2012 stars Michael Jamieson and Jessica Ennis-Hill will signal the start of ticket sales for Glasgow 2014.
Up to one million tickets for next summer's Commonwealth Games are up for grabs from Monday.
Scots DJ Calvin Harris provides the music for the 40-second ad which will be shown in cinemas nationwide.
Olympic swimmer Michael Jamieson, who is from Glasgow, appears in the ad with fellow gold medallists, athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill and boxing's Nicola Adams.
Viewers will be told they have four weeks to apply for Games tickets across 17 sports.
Prices start from £15 for adults with half price concessions for under 16s and the over 60s. Games organisers have pledged that more than two thirds of the tickets cost £25 or less.
Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg said: "Along with athletes, the city and its people will be stars of the Games providing a dynamic stage and friendly welcome for the next big sporting occasion to come to the UK.
"This campaign showcases the best of what Glasgow has to offer and will play a key role in building excitement and engaging audiences as we look forward to the Games next year."
