Singer songwriter Jessica Foxley

Jessica Foxley is a 20 years old solo singer.

She likes to sing in a variety of different styles, including classical, jazz and pop.

Jessica said: "I especially like to sing songs in the style of Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Duffy, Katherine Jenkins and Leona Lewis to name but a few.

"I was born in Airedale, Yorkshire and lived in a small village called Cowling for about nine years. I then moved across the border to Lancashire and have lived in Colne since. I went to Westholme Upper School in Blackburn, which really helped me develop my music and performance skills.

"I have started to write my own songs and love to perform my own material.

"I am quite new to the music scene, in that I haven't played any major venues as yet. I have however done some recording at Anchor Studios in Preston and two of my songs are going to be played on Radio 2 in the New Year. I have also had a lot of experience performing at smaller local venues."
