Burscough sign Thomas Moore from local rivals

BURSCOUGH FC have acquired the services of Thomas Moore from West Lancashire rivals Skelmersdale United.

The addition of the midfielder to the ranks at Victoria Park is certain to add some extra spice to the traditional pre-season derby meeting between the sides in August.

The Linnets will host Skem on August 1 (kick-off 3pm) in the penultimate game of a busy pre-season schedule.

Coca-Cola League One side Blackpool will visit Burscough on July 11 to kick-off the Linnets' programme.

This will be followed by a midweek game with Accrington Stanley on July 14 before Gray's team visit Ashton United a week later. Burscough will also be on their travels when they take a trip to Clitheroe on July 25.

The Skem clash is a week later before the schedule concludes when the Linnets travel to Bamber Bridge on August 4.

Burscough this week finalised the prices for the season tickets for the new campaign. Adult prices are £150 with concessions and students priced at £85. For under-16s it will be £30 to watch the Linnets while a combined parent and child season ticket deal is £170.

All tickets are now on sale.

In addition, individual entrance fees for games are £9 for adults, £5 concessions, £2 for under-16s and free of charge for children under 11 who are accompanied by a paying adult.
