Aughton Town Green’s rugby stars are Lancashire champions

TALENTED junior tag rugby stars from Aughton Town Green primary school were crowned champions of Lancashire.

The side clinched the title with a series of impressive displays at the Lancashire Tag Rugby Tournament in Preston.

It was the latest success for the highly-talented squad of Emily Darby, Katie Melia, Ben Ewbank, Sam Sinden, Jack Sinden, Adam Jones, Ryan Treanor, Reece Adair, Lauren Lewis and Mia Smith who qualified after winning the West Lancs section of the competition at Ormskirk RUFC.
