NETHERMOSS ARCHERS held its last shoot of the year at its indoor venue of Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.
It was the club’s monthly handicap shoot and the round shot was a Bray 1.
With bows and archers suitably donned in festive decoration, the shoot commenced.
The more experienced archers have a very unfair advantage over newer members, and this is where the handicap system puts everybody on the same level.
Although shooting for only a few months it was Rob Harrison who was the winner after taking the handicap scores into consideration.
The rest of the afternoon was just a cooling down period with archers shooting balloons and cardboard cut-outs.
It was then off to finish the day with a well deserved Christmas meal and a celebratory seasonal drink.
