ORMSKIRK SCHOOL had 12 participants in the West Lancashire District team for the Lancashire Schools Cross Country Championships last Saturday at Witton Park, Blackburn.
Jack Dee-Ingham was the shining star as he convincingly won the Year 7 boys race in a time of 7.24 minutes for the 2000m course.
Jack is the first pupil from Ormskirk School to win a County schools title and we have high hopes for him in the future.
Jack is a member of the Wigan and District Harriers and AC for whom he finished fifth in the club County Championships at the same venue earlier this year.
Jack’s performance along with his school teammates Ryan Treanor, Adam Jones, Josh Makin and Richard Coney (all pictured right) helped the West Lancashire boys to the Year 7 team prize.
