Cricket: Ormskirk CC ready to reopen

ORMSKIRK Cricket Club’s new-look pavilion is almost ready for action – and you can come and see for yourself.

The club is holding a grand reopening party on Sunday, January 27, with a buffet at lunchtime and curry in the evening.

The club’s press officer, Walter Armstrong, said: “It’s looking good – it’s just about ready now.

“We’re expecting about 100 people to come along, so it should be a great day.”

The doors to the clubhouse open at 1pm on Sunday.
