BICKERSTAFFE progressed into the second round of the Whitehead Cup winning away in the second leg against Ince Central 2-0 (3-1 on aggregate).

Goals from S Wissett and C Bowden sealed the victory in a hard fought match marred by the sending off of J Bulmer.

Staffe will face Atherton Royal in the second round.

THE second team drew 1-1 with Boarshead, T Lynch the Staffe marksman.
