GOALKEEPER Tim Horn is an injury concern after being taken off in Burscough's defeat to Padiham.
The Greens' stopper was replaced at half-time by Michael Jensen in Tuesday's eventful game in the Evo-Stik First Division North.
Although manager Derek Goulding will hope to have first-choice stopper Horn available, Jensen impressed with a handful of good saves.
Burscough went 3-1 up after just eight minutes at Victoria Park after Liam Caddick struck twice inside three minutes and Paul Williams fired one in off the underside of the bar.
Padiham, who had equalised in the second minute through Ben Allen, reduced the Linnets' lead after 33 minutes when Keiron Pickup scored.
Burscough then had midfielder Conor Roberts sent off and soon after Padiham made it 3-3.
The Linnets held on until nine minutes from time when Padiham grabbed a fourth from a corner.
Defeat is Burscough's third in a row in all competitions following losses to Workington in the FA Cup last weekend and to Kendal Town in the league.
Third bottom of the First Division North, Burscough must forget about league worries on Saturday as they travel to Goole for an FA Trophy tie.
The preliminary round tie takes place at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds in East Yorkshire.
Goole are currently 10th in the Evo-Stik First Division South.
