Bar Du Fay 0The Tail 3
IN A good game well refereed, the Tail pushed themselves into third spot with a 3-0 win over the Bar Du Fay.
A first half brace from Ramon McHugh did the damage while Michael Joyce and Chris Winsor came close for the Bar.
Chances came and went at both ends until Paul King crashed home number three and the Tail just keep on wagging.
Parnell’s 1Kestrel’s 4
IN A game of two halves Parnell’s battled and kept the Kestrel’s down to a single goal from Dave Dougdale, with an equaliser from the impressive Jay Purcell before the half time whistle.
The second half however turned into a nightmare as the Kestrel’s ran them ragged, Michael Boyle grabbing a hat-trick and the woodwork along with some questionable refereeing decisions keeping the final score respectable. Parnell’s never gave up to their credit, but could not produce the energy or danger their first half display had promised.

Falcon 4Sacred Heart 2
IN A close derby game only a Simon Mains goal for Falcon separated these two neighbours after forty five minutes.
The second half was just as intense even though the goals began to flow.
Luke Newcombe and Glen Lamb put Falcon further ahead with their MoM Ryan Ball topping off his performance with the fourth. Liam Welsby and John O’Callaghan grabbed two in between for Sacred Heart but it was the Falcon’s superior finishing that decided the day.
Platinum M/W 4Lanes End 1
PLATINUM took the lead within 16 seconds of this game thanks to a Jay Barker strike and the Lane never really recovered till late on when the damage was done.
A brace from MoM Sean Knowles and a pin point header from Alan Morrow right on the break put this game beyond the Lane, despite a second half display that outweighed their nightmare first 45 minutes.
Fact was, the Lane scorned chances that may have put them in with a shout till a late defensive error allowed Declan Gregson in for his customary goal a game.
Database 1George’s 3
A FIRST half brace from George’s mom Jay Clarke left Database still looking for a league win in their worst start to a season ever.
Mike Gilbert did reduce the arrears to give Database some hope in the second half, but all that was undone when they gave away a sloppy penalty for Frannie Smith to convert and George’s to collect the points.
McGirk and Hayden had decent games for Database but they need a good result in the league soon to kick start their season.

Civil Service 2Coach & Horses 4
IN A close game that went end to end for over an hour, the Coach ran out winners thanks to a Mark Gornall brace and one a piece from the head of Danny Fitzsimmons and a Mark Cummings strike. Steven Finn had twice equalised in the first half for the Service only for Gornall to put the Coach into a half time lead with his second just before the break.
The second half was just as close till Fitzsimmons wrapped up the points on 80 minutes.
