Two golfers both hit a hole-in-one at Hurlston Hall

IF your golf game is in need of a lift and you think a hole in one might be just the tonic, then head down to Hurlston Hall Golf Club.

Two plucky golfers have just hit the best shot in golf just two weeks apart and both from the same tee.

Forty-nine-year-old Tom Houghton and Don Marr, 73, both struck holes in one from the 156 yard, par three second last month and their success comes fast on the heels of 16-year-old Arran Cheetham’s one shot wonder at the same hole in August.

Tom, from Scarisbrick, was playing in the Winter League competition at the Scarisbrick based club and used a nine wood to shoot the ball, while Aintree’s Don relied on a 5 rescue club to etch his name into Hurlston history.
