Second half display brings West End victory

Against a very strong wind, Ormskirk packed their midfield and defence and weathered a heavy Southport storm and kept the score to 0-0 at the interval.

The second period saw a different West End.

Charles Coldrick,who has a habit of scoring important goals,put them 1-0 up with a shot from the back post.

Dom Whelan’s effort and the tireless work from Jamie Charnock helped Ormskirk gain a firm grip on the game and Charnock got his reward when he rounded the keeper and scored the second.

Jamie Treanors entrance to the game was massive and his goal was superb in build up and execution.
