WEST End swept a spirited Redgate aside with a Matty Hilton brace and a single from Matt Peterson.

Without hitting the form that they have produced of late, they played some nice football that created a number of chances. Matty Hilton drove into the box and hit a powerful shot that the impressive Mitchell Davies could only parry into the net.

Redgate had a spell of dominance and from that capitalised on a defensive mix-up and ŠLuke Ballentine turned in at the back post.

From then on it was all Ormskirk and another goal from Matty Hilton when he cut in from the right and scored from an acute angle made it 2-1.

Peterson made the game safe when he hassled centre back Keiron Rylance into making a mistake and rounded the keeper to score.

Tom Bunclark had a good game for the home side but man of the match was West End's Callum Davis
