Tarleton Junior Colts earn place in North of England Bowl final

TARLETON Junior Colts have made it through to the North of England Bowl final.

After finishing runners-up in the Raging Bull Colts C League, Tarleton were then entered into the national competition.

In the quarter-final they met Liverpool Collegiate, a team who finished a full league ahead of them. This didn’t seem to faze the Tarleton lads at all and after a real battle, the West Lancashire outfit won the clash 24-12.

After a walkover in the semi-final against Guisborough this has set up a fantastic final for Tarleton against Hull Ionians.

Coach Paul Cromack said: “This is a fitting end for our Colts’ season.

“The players put in a tremendous amount of work during the year and they have earned a place in this final and we will enjoy every minute of it.”
