Nightlife

WELCOME to Nightlife, our newest column. Each week local photographer Zack Downey, owner of ZEDphotography, will be out and about capturing all the best shots of people enjoying their weekend.

Editor Andrew Brown said: “Our arts pages have long offered much in terms of dining out, theatres and arts - but people enjoy some superb nightlife in our area too. We have some great bars, pubs and clubs here which we hope people will continue to support. We wanted to support them too by publishing some of Zack’s superb images of people enjoying their nights out. “

Zack has become a very recognisable and popular figure in the local nightlife scene who has taken thousands of fantastic photographs over the past few months. I am delighted to be able to publishsome of them in our newspapers.”
